Nepal is geographically situated between Tibet and India. It has a population of almost 24 million people comprised of many different ethnic groups. This ethnic diversity together with the influences from India, Tibet and China has produced a unique range of local dishes.

At Sagarmatha Restaurant we have prepared a menu of such authentic Nepali Dishes.

Sagarmatha is the Nepali name for the highest mountain in the world known as Mt Everest.

"Sagarmatha" means "the summit over the sky".

Eight of the world's fourteen highest mountains are part of the Himalayan Range in the northern part of Nepal.
