Starting the business meant sacrificing many weekends to do research and visit the many, many fine wineries, sampling their wares and creating good relationships with the staff of these fine establishments.
This meant that to also provide a complete service for the visitors to the state, some of the basic requirements of life had to be catered for, such as good restaurants, accommodation, antique stores, friendly hairdressers, venues and social groups had to be found. Therefore, in the spirit of true Australian enterprise, more research was done.
