Paradise Club, Mykonos, has been voted the best club in Greece. While details are vague on the voting process or who did the tallying, we're not going to let boring ??details' get in the way. Paradise Club rules, okay - so say people in Greece. And so do quite a few Australian DJs. Over the last 12 months a number of well-known Australian DJs have braved the long-haul flight for a chance to play the club. None of them have complained, probably something to do with the club's incredible decor and its location right along the water's edge. Frankly, it's one of the prettiest, swankiest nightclubs anywhere in the world. It certainly looks incredible in the press shots.

While our homegrown clubs can't hope to compete with the Mediterranean location of Paradise Club, they can recreate some of that vibe. Guys like Andy Van, Raye Antonelli, Stafford Brothers and Simon Digby have all been over to Mykonos and played the legendary venue, so they know what's up, yo. They're recreating that special atmosphere around the country as Paradise Club undertakes its first international tour. Fans of all things Mykonos and commercial house quake in rapture.

Vance: I was in mykonos a few years ago and paradise and space are the 2 clubs that rocked the most over there, being able to relive some of that vibe back here in adelaide is something I'm looking forward to. it will be interesting to see if they put a swimming pool in the middle of the club for this (02 October 2008)
