2008 is the year of the Pink Floyd revival. It's almost like you can't walk down the street without seeing a tribute band running through the UK group's back catalogue. From Money and Wish You Were Here, through to Another Brick in the Wall and Learning to Fly, The Pink Floyd Experience presents all the hits, the b-sides, the rarities and more in an action-packed concert extravaganza.

While we'd assume most people would have a fairly good grasp on Pink Floyd and their contribution to modern music, it's worth noting that the band's last studio album was released in 1994. That's 14 years ago. A whole generation of people has since grown up with no concept of just how bleak The Wall is, how out there Pink Floyd got in the ‘70s and how their stage shows were basically one giant lightshow/acid trip. We don't really have the web space to go through the group's entire history here but, suffice it to say, Pink Floyd helped invent psychedelic rock and the modern ‘concert spectacular'.

The Pink Floyd Experience draws on all that as they play throughout Australia. The New Zealand-based act has been together for years and have performed internationally to critical acclaim.
