Michael Jackson's New Album
Editorial ReviewEditorial Review
Producer Will.I.Am has stated that Michael Jackson's new album will be released when it's ready. And not a day earlier. Will should know, he's one of the people drafted in to help produce the album and give Jackson's sound a 'contemporary overhaul'. He's been working with the legendary singer/entertainer on the release for the last two years and is yet to see the light at the end of the tunnel. As he explained to the BBC: "There's all these artists in the world like Neo, Chris Brown and Usher, Justin Timberlake, Fergies and Rihannas and then there's Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson has a different pace and you can not put Michael Jackson in that category, especially when a lot of those artists have been inspired by Michael Jackson. So Michael Jackson is gonna release his record when he releases his record."
Jackson's last proper album was 2001's Invincible. It was released just as Jackson announced his plans to leave Sony and the record label pulled all promotion for the album in response. Despite this, it still went on to sell a not unreasonable 10 million copies.

musicandme: i agree with will, you can not rush a man of genius like mike. he knows what he is doin just let the man do it, 2 many fans are complaning that he is taking to long, but you have to understand this is michael jackson! not your everyday singer for ex neyo, chris brown, usher. most of these singers bring out albums every year, but with mike his albums last forever, because he has a much greater gift then any singer today. his songs stand the test of time, therefore he doesnt need to make a album every year. so my point is, is that mike is putting everything in to this album, and after the trail and so on, this album has to be his best. and it aint just the music, he has to sort out his image for this album, and tours and, what music video's. so just give this man time and ill garantee he'll rock your world!!
