If you are serious about your coffee, then get yourself to Bar 9 post haste, as it's the best purveyor of said devilish brew in Adelaide, bar none. Yes, the name might be confusing, this isn't a trendy wine bar, but rather a fantastic cafe using 5 Sense as the standard blend and with plenty of single origins, syphons, pour overs and all the other in-the-know malarky that will keep the connoisseurs happy. Apparently the owner Ian had a nightmare getting the shop up and running, but you could never tell. Hats off to him, it's a sterling addition to the city's caffeine scene.
